My husband would not be a happy camper if I also included the picture of him in a wheelchair on this trip. He had a really bad sprained ankle from a baseball injury. In hindsight, the accident was hilarious. But at the time it was horrifying to see him so injured. I kid you not, his ankle swelled to softball size in less than 10 minutes.

Anyway, the post is about the beauty of Callaway Gardens and the little known “Grand Canyon” of the south. We’ve spent many a day exploring the Callaway grounds. And Providence Canyon is a great day hike for those that are in the area of the weekend.
